Software for NON-machine website translation?

Colleagues and clients,

As we all know, we live in an era where more and more translation requests are focused on technical conversions. Video games, movies, websites and most of all on-line gaming (having the entire combination) are so trendy now, that these seem to have the need to be localized the most. Even e-shops are preferred by the small scale sellers. Just look at us, using language123 to promote our services, giving us the luxury to travel and enhance our language skills in the meantime. But without the sufficient material, we cannot compete the translation market targeting the new trends.
Thanks to my PPC and my PC, I can do my freelance translations on the go, traveling between Europe and Asia. Subtitling with Wincaps or URUsoft and software translation with poEdit has made us, freelancers, more mobile and independent. Most of the mentioned software are even freeware!
For software information, and almost for anything else, we can consult the internet, but regarding software for web translation, we can all guess what the results show us on web search: machine web translations. Well, to be honest, using these makes human translation more difficult than it should be. I don't want these, but more something like poEdit, where whatever website language file can be converted into a target language file.
I read that poEdit can only be used for software translation and not for website translation, because of poEdit's simplicity.
Please help me out or give me some suggestions. Perhaps the solution is simpler than I thought, because I am not a website designer. poEdit seems to me made to ease conversion for all translators. It might be so, that these tools exist, even promoted on the internet, but they are obstructed in the search engines by our mechanical counterparts!
